Mission Statement
We will strive to promote quality programs ensuring that all students are provided an opportunity to better themselves through increasing their education, further developing their skills to improve their quality of life, and to possess the knowledge and academic credentials through career opportunities, to compete in a global economy, exercise the rights and responsibilities of citizenship, and have the skills necessary to assist their children in being academically prepared to begin formal schooling.
Program Goal
The primary goal of Columbia County's adult education program is to reduce illiteracy and undereducation among adults in Columbia County. Basic education skills and appropriate academic credentials are considered requisite to effective citizenship and productive employment.
